Stand alone hottub

Hi,

I have a potential customer that wants to put a hot tub on raised area of an in ground pool cool deck. It will be with in 6' of the pool. I planned to run #4 bare from the tub to the pool pump and bond the metal fence. Are there other factors that I should be concerned with?

May I ask why you are using #4?

Just a subject of damage thing, ,I realize it is big but it is 80’ around the pool edge across the yard to the pump, too much overkill?

i have not seen a tub installed next to a pool and just wanted to make sure it was allowed.

There is no issue with a tub being set next to a pool as long as the code requirements are met. Seems like you have it under control
