in a class1 div2 area if your going to install devices, panels ,recps.etc and are above the 18 in barrier above finished floor is any seal offs etc reqired is 18 in the min height required to mount such devices or is it heigher

It depends primarily on the Article that covers the installation.

As a general rule, Article 501 would only require boundary seals for runs between the classified and unclassified locations - and they aren't required to be explosionproof. Equipment located outside the classified location aren't usually required to be explosionproof so they don't require seals.

There are some requirements in Articles 511-516 for equipment above classified locations but sealing isn't usually a requirement.
