what would diesel fuel be classified in a out side dispensing facility for tractor trailers . would 514 .3 apply and the location be considered un classified , would any seal offs be required at the pumps?
Diesel is a class II, combustible liquid with a flash point above 100 degrees F. The only time diesel tanks or diesel dispensing needs to be classified is when it is handled or stored above its flash point. See section 7.1 of the NFPA 30.
