I have a 460v Chromalox CVEP Hazardous heater that is inside a hazardous container that houses 55 gallon drums. The heater contains its own contactor, transformer, and thermostat, but it is very inconvient to get to. I want to be able to control this heater using another more convient to get to thermostat. Is there a way to wire this and would I need another contactor to protect my remote thermostat?
