Battery to networked LCP

The contractor submitted this detail indicates wiring from battery backup to lighting control panel, in my opinion this detail applies for conventional control through local switch i.e. the detail should show local switch instead of LCP.

If the facility has a building management system (BMS) then he's right.

If the building does not have one, that LCP would just be a SPST switch.

And if he does like the rest of us do and uses the same standard over and over, maybe he slid that detail in that drawing set because he already had it and he used the wrong one or wasn't sure what the building had for a BMS.

What did he say when you contacted him?
