Mostly, yes. Or you can hook it up through a relay on the motherboard. I don't like putting things on the motherboard in case something ugly happens to the field conductors.

The other way to do it is to hook it up to the aux power supply on a notification appliance circuit booster panel. These can usually be dip-switch programmed to drop out if the panel receives a signal to activate the notification appliances.
