The notes only say Class E system nothing about the wiring. There are EOL resistors so I guess it's Class B wiring. i'm just curious since there are no return loops like a Class A how this would be wired so not to lose circuit if there is a break. Would the wiring be alternating circuits like a/b/a/b THanks.

Class E is legacy NYC-ese for a high-rise fire alarm system with voice evacuation. There's a lot more and you can read about it here. Keep in mind that this is based on the NYC law from 2006. There may be more stringent current requirements and regardless of the notes you'll need to comply with the most restrictive conditions.
