Video doorbell power wiring

Looking into video doorbells, most have a 16-24VAC requirement. Builder has run CAT5e to doorbell. Does this need to be replaced with 18/2 doorbell cable before installing a video doorbell or will the CAT5e support the voltage input without issues?

I would suggest you read the specs on the video doorbell or contact the mfg regarding the wire size.
Beyond that, we can't really help any further and........
