    FA CONDUIT WIRE

Say a note that said all fire alarm conduits must have #10 ground wire. Anyone ever see this. Makes no sense.

Yes for supplying power to control panels, etc.

See NYC 2011 electrical code 760.33(B)

Makes no sense? It's a Code book. Sense only comes into half of the reasons for codes.

Hey Joe. Still don't get it. Power to FACP's, DGPS etc. is run separately from FCO's. I thought that note meant ALL fire alarm conduits meaning even those running to smokes, strobes etc.

          That sounds silly.

I don't think that it's required so an RFI is in order.
