Per the NEC, the room housing emergency equipment such as inverter system for lighting does not need to be located in 2-hrs fire rated room if the building is sprinkled. Is there any other codes will require the room to be fire rated? Thanks,

You don't show a location but in Massachusetts it has to be in a rated room seperate from the normal power panels and equipment.

Its in Kansas and we do have it in a dedicated room but not sure if it needs to be fire rated. This building is a two stories building. Thanks,
