I recently ran across a code ? that i can't get the same answer to it goes
20apartments@ 900 sq ft. 3va per sq ft lighting load and 11kw range in each
what is the total lighting and appliance load for each apt.
the correct answer is 11945 VA
how did they come to this answer

3va/sf * 900sf ................= 2700va
2 S.A circuit @ 1500va ea = 3000va
Subtotal.........................= 5700va

From 220.42
First 3000va @ 100%......= 3000va
Remaining 2700va @ 35%= 945va
From 220.55
Range............................= 8000va
Total..............................= 11945va
