Is there a problem with putting like 6-8 12/2 romex in 1 in romex connector?

I used to think the same thing but for instance the Arlington NM844 1.25" NM connector is listed for ten 12/2s.

You really have to check out the listings, they are getting very specific.

But according to the literature you could not install less than 10 12/2 NM cables.

I would be fairly disappointed to see someone do that!! I would have to do my Gunny Ermey impression on them.
Why? I think it's a great idea and I am glad to find a connector that will do it.I would be fairly disappointed to see someone do that!! I would have to do my Gunny Ermey impression on them.
The connector shouldn't be so tight that any cables get pinched to the point of it being a problem. Staple your cables within the proper distance and it doesn't matter all that much if they aren't super tight. If you feel like someone is going to be pulling on the cables for some reason, it's probably best to protect them anyway.I don't know- it seems liket the pressure doesn't get evenly distributed and some cables get pinched while others can be wiggled loose. And it also looks like bird poop on a new car.
