fixture support wires

I cant seem to find any articles in the code that specify exactly a poundage rating on fixtures when mounted in a suspended ceiling. I need to know how much weight I can put on it before I need to install a support wire...

The NEC is silent on this issue, it only requires attachment of the fixture to the ceiling grid. Anything further would be out of the building code.
