Is there a restriction for vending machines cord length?

I don't think so, but you have 422.51 to consider you you are remanufacturing the unit, and the list in 400.8. Of course it is intended to be cord and plug connected, but after a few yards it will sure seem like a substitute for permanent wiring.

UL probably has something in their standards for vending machines. UL 541 for refrigerated vending machines and UL 751 for vending machines in general. Unfortunately you have to buy them and they aren't cheap. If you know the manufacturer of the machine you may want to check out the parts list and see how long a replacement cord is.
