Three parallel runs of 3/4" EMT 100FT in length(for a total of 300ft of EMT) with about 270 degrees of bending involved in each run, in a drop ceiling working on 12 FT ladder securing conduit with caddy beat on straps. How many man hours should I figure? Is there a rule of thumb when figuring installing EMT? I dont have an estimating program or book yet. Thanks.

I don't have any type of book yet either. I just estimate the time I think it will take based off what's involved and my past experiences.

If there is nothing in the way and assuming 2 men with 12' ladders, then I think it can be done in 4 hours but that would depend on the speed of the men so maybe 6 hours would be safe.

Take this info fwiw- I do mostly resi work but I have done similar jobs to the one stated.
