Hello -I can see by past threads the question I am about to ask has been asked in the past however I have seen contrasting answers to would like to get current input:
Can a demand factor be applied to elevators when running load calculations and sizing associated distribution equipment? NEC 620.14 refers to "feeder demand factors for elevators" - it is my understanding this table should be used to size the the elevator feeders, not necessarily used to apply a derating factor for load calculations. I noticed in past threads some had mentioned NEC 220.3 - this section also refers to feeders though (within the table). Second question - when applying NEC 620.14 we should first apply 430.24 and 430.22(E.) first, correct?
