Transformer Clearance from Windows & Doors

Hey Guys,

I already have the POCO defined transformer clearance in front of doors and windows and trying to figure out if NEC has a similar spec as I could not find it in NEC 450, it states only about ventilation and no specific clearance.

For example the POCO says the T/F should be 20' in front of the building and 10' in front of a window. Something like that. This is a 750kVA FR-3 Cooled T/F.

The NEC has little to say about the installation of transformers in specific locations other than to follow the manufacturers instructions. Take a look at 450.9.
