Per table 430.22(E) passenger elevators are considered as intermittent load but, i refereed to definitions of intermittent load types S3, S4, S5 that are defined in IEC 60034-1 as a sequence of identical duty cycles, but passenger elevators are not working in identical duty cycles and the definition likely refers to industrial motors, am i correct here ?
