FM 200 and fire alarm

Is it required to put fire alarm smoke detector aong with Fm200 detectors in critical areas, in light of NFPA?

FM200 requires some type of initiation device like a smoke or heat detector to activate unless it is a manual system.

You do not need general building smoke detectors in addition to those used to activate the FM200 inside the FM200 protected space. You do need to send the alarm signal from the FM200 panel to the main panel so the building notification appliances can be activated.
