I'm not sure if this is a NEC question, or a Building Code question, but what are the heights of receptacles and switches in a handicap accessible dwelling. I'm having trouble finding info in the NEC.

Thanks in advance for the help.

It's not in the NEC.

Here are some basic guide lines

Forward Reach Limit

Side Reach Limit

If you stay within the tighter forward reach limits you do not have to figure out if there is space for 'side reach'

For ADA accessible work we usually go with 18" and 44" AFF to the center of the boxes, this insures the devices are entirely above 15" and below 48".
