I just downloaded this (last night on my sister's hi-speed) and it is too cool.

It's worth mentioning that the 1901 NEC is an appendix to the actual book downloaded. :cool:

Tickles me that it says that "a competant man must be kept on duty where generators are operating". I guess it was a no women allowed club back then.

One of the things I found interesting is that the ampacities of conductors really haven't chagned too much in 100 years of research. For example, 10 AWG is listed at 32A. 12 AWG is 23A. Remarkable!

Go to a major city library if ya live near one....and I bet ya they will have it in the archived section:)
