NEC 300.3 C 1

I need to run 2 types of multiconductor cable...one is rated 600V, carrying 480Vac, and the other is rated 300V, carrying 24Vdc.

These cables will run through wireway and cable tray. Can I run these in the same wireway and cable tray?

Article 392.6 E tells me yes, but 300.3 C 1 seems to tell me no. But I am wondering if 300.3 C 1 is referring to individual conductors and not multiconductor cable.

Any help would be appreciated!

While that is what is should mean; unfortunately, it doesn't. See Section 725.136 (G) as well.
