Have a solar installer that states the line and load can be in the same conduit. I disagree. Any thoughts?

It depends what you mean by "LINE".
If by "LINE" you mean "service" then you are correct. The service conduit can not have any other conductors in it. If as "LINE" you mean "feeder" then it is ok to have other conductors in the same conduit. (besides service conductors of course)
