I apologize if this has been covered before, I tried searching but found nothing....and if it is in the incorrect spot, but here is my question.
I have (2) copies of the 2014 NEC Code book and they are not the same. For example one has 690.7 (F) Disconnects and Overcurrent Protection which is highlighted like it is a change from 2011, and the other book this section does not exist. Another example is in 690.15 one book has part (D) Maximum Number of Disconnects and again the other on does not. All 690.15 (A) - (C) or (D) are highlighted in both books as well, it's just one is missing (D). Do they make different editions of the same code book?
I looked on NFPA site and that version matches the book that has the missing sections.
Could the answer to my question be attributed to the (REMINDER: UPDATING OF NFPA DOCUMENTS) note boxed in on the inside of the front cover?
If so, how would you know unless you periodically checked the NFPA website?
