Splicing AC conductors after the PV disconnect.

Hello All,

We have installed a PV roof mounted system recently and the utility inspector failed us cause the disconnect is not in the line of sight from the meter pole. Please see the attached image. Our disconnect is right next to the corner of the house, so we need to move the disconnect just a little and place it right around the corner to bring it line of sight from the meter pole. The output conductors from the AC disconnect penetrate into the wall as shown to reach the main panel (load side breaker type interconnection). If we now have to move the disconnect around the corner can we splice the existing conductors in a j box (placed right at the current AC disconnect location to reach the new AC disconnect location? IF yes what type of splices are permitted? Or are we not allowed to splice the conductors after the PV disconnect? Let me know if there are any code violations if we splice the conductors. Worst case we would have to pull new wire through the conduit. Rough sketch 2.jpg
