I know about the 3' clearance rule for electrical equipment in proximity to gas meters & pressure regulators. Is there any clearance requirements for gas pipe from electrical equipment such as inverters & breaker panels?

Not in any jurisdiction I work in, but the rules are not consistent. Some say three feet from the pressure relief valve, some say four, some say measured radially, some say linearly. Check with the governing AHJ.

I've seen restrictions issued by a utility (PG&E) but it was only with respect to the riser on the utility side of the meter, not gas pipe in general.

Watch out for the general electrical equipment working area requirements. I have seen people mount equipment above or below gas pipes that are running horizontally along a wall.
