Exception No. 3:
Where the roof has a slope of 100 mm in 300 mm (4 in. in 12 in.) 1 in 3 or greater steeper, a reduction in clearance to 900 mm (3 ft) shall be permitted.

Slope is dimensionless, it is just a ratio.
