It's been about 6 years since our arc fash study using a 2009 ESP and today we are still using the same electrical safety policy. A lot has changed in the last 6 yrs. My question is should we be looking and working with nfpa 2015 ?

Even in prior editions of NFPA 70E, the requirement to update your arc flash study every 5 yrs existed, so you are past due for that. There are changes in NFPA 70E - 2015 that will affect the study update such as the labeling requirement. IMHO, you should be using the latest standard as revisions were made based on experience with the previous version.
