When the incoming service entrance conductors pass through a j.box on the extreior of a building and then nipple through the wall to the main overcurrent protection device.
If a rigid nipple is used, what are the bonding / grounding requirements?
Also, the j. box is metal and the service entrance conduits from the utility transformer is pvc.

All the service metal enclosures must be bonded to the grounded conductor.

All the service metal raceways, including nipples must be bonded to the grounded conductor.

I agree, does the nipples need grounding bush on each end or will one end work, and can the j-box be bonded by running a ground wire through one of the nipples?

The nipple only needs to be bonded on one end.

The box can be bonded by bonding bushing yes or bonding lock nut if the nipple isn't through a concentric or eccentric knockouts.

Remember the jumper you use on the bond bushing must be sized IAW table 250.66
