Geez.. no way (motors)

So I just googled something about motors and this link was close to the top:

Is it just me, or does that guy have his motor knowledge all scrambled up?

That guy really needs a acredited motor class. I love his/her idea that

Three phase power consists of three legs of power. Two lines have approximately 110/120 volts (220/240 combined).

Huh. So all the huge 3 phase power transmission infrastructure equipment out there operates at 120V. I didn't know that. :roll:

Years ago, that is what we called it. That was back when we had 110/220v.

110v * 1.73 = 190.3v
