W walleye900 New member May 26, 2009 #1 If a panels main breaker is 100 amps, a sub panels overcurrent protection can't also be a 100 amp breaker? I can't find any code section that pertains. Any answers? Thanks.

raider1 Senior Member Staff member Location Logan, Utah May 26, 2009 #2 Welcome to the forum. There is nothing in the NEC that would prevent you from using a 100 amp breaker in a panel protected by a 100 amp breaker from feeding another panel. Chris
