i do, i have to send a cut card, and the rest of the system has to be safe, your work would pass if there was no violations, but the owner would be cited if there was any unsafe conditions

Around these parts, there are various inspections and one can get a "conditional" power inspection,
and yes everything needs to be ready for the application of "the service"!
