Identifying Underground Conduits

We have exposed some underground conduits in preparation for a switchgear replacement. There is no reliable geometrical relationship between the exposed conduits and the stub-ups into the existing switchgear. I know which breaker feeds which panel in the building, but cannot absolutely identify which contuit is which.
I need to find a reliable (100% reliable) method to pair a conduit to a breaker. We can not shut down any circuit.
What a mess.
Any bright ideas?
thanks

The locator we talked to would have to disconnect the circuit to induce a signal. They didn't have any clamp-on stuff.
We need to keep searching for that good locator.

480 sparky has the right idea on what equipment to use. A clamp on around the conductor puts a high frequency signal on the cable and then the hand held receiver can tell you where the cable is. I am not so sure about the accuracy with so many conduits so close together though...

edit to add: power should not have to be shut off to use this equipment.

We'll check out the Amprobe & Rycom equipment - thanks.
The occupants will need assurance that the signals won't effect their 'stuff'.
To paraphrase some Navy terms - this is turning into a "Goat Cluster".
thanks again
