Sounds fine. If I have a flush switch in the wall then I just sleeve the nm cable in carflex otherwise I do as you do.

with no switch i drill a hole in a w/p cover and greenfield from there. i read somewhere a long while back that pvc wasnt aloud inside a residence so i just go with it.

And why is that. There is plastic water lines and drain lines throughout most houses. There are also plastic switches and recep. everywhere.

sleeve in carflex nm??sounds simple--thought nm could not be in carflex,or is it the phsyical protection thing??me gonna go look get my code book out and see..

Carflex offers some protection but it is also a much neater job. Technically I don't think carflex is suitable for protection
