I have a list of mechanical equipment with cfm ratings, but no power information. Does anyone know how I can determine the load based on the given cfm's?

Too many unknowns. Depends heavily on motorand impeller efficiency if just equipment ratings. If actual air movement ratings (assuming we are talking air handlers), duct size/shape/turns, distance, differential pressure, and so forth also need to be figured into the picture.

However, if just equipment ratings, a temporary fix would be to just choose a brand and use their numbers.

Cfm and HP are to totally imcompatible units of measure. It's like comparing pounds to gallons.

I'd suggest submitting an RFI.

CFM and horspower requirements change significantly with rpm for centrifugal fans. I have borrowed information from a mfg to compare with equip of an unknown source and came suprisingly close to final requirements.
