I have a HVAC rooftop unit that is being fed from a 800A OCPD @ 208 3 phase to a power panel with a 800A molded case switch (disconnect switch with factory set fault current trip rating) with multiple tap lugs on the load side ranging up to 2/0.I need to feed a 60 hp motor that is located with in 25 ft. and requires 4/0. Is it with in code to parallel 1/0 to the motor OCPD located at the VFD and then run 4/0 to the motor?
