I have a customer with old house and no service he wants to rewire it
to 08 code there is no plans and he is going to remodel. He will be hiring a archit for strucutal but as for electrical i usually just attach my master to the
project number but since there will not be a electrical. How do i submit drawing do i just submit my load calculations or do I have to create drawing showing place of electrical sw/recp/ lts.
 
In a case like this, we submit a riser diagram and load calc with an estimated cost for the remodel. Your area may be different.

thanks kenny it sound about right we do that in commericial also but
do you think i would have to show lighting volt-amps per circuit for load center. or dwelling service cal
 
unless you are doing the job for free, I think its worth investing the time to at least do a half baked plan -then when your customer wants to double the amount of work you will have a starting point as to why it costs more.

I will be doing the job "for money" I just never pulled residential permits
or residential I know i can figure it out just asking what all needs to be included in the application for getting the permits

It would help if you could tell us where your located as you are well aware permitting requirements are regional.
 
Here in MA there is no need to submit an electrical plan for a permit for the job in question. Nor should there be in my opinion.

My location houston texas, Usually I would attach MY license to a project number then just do the work. I never have pulled permit for new residential.
