Square D breakers in a Siemans panel?

Can Square D circuit breakers be used as replacement breakers in a Siemans residential service panel? What brand is allowed in a Siemans? Where can I find listings of replacement breakers for this and other brands of service panels?

No.

According to Square D, their Homeline breakers are not listed for use in other manufacturer's panels.

Dont mean to sound smarta** but I have always found Siemens breakers fit just fine.

Such as this sold at the Local Big Orange ?

Obviously, a Siemens breaker. :cool:


Yes, the typcial 1" ("interchangeable," but not really) breakers are phycially compatible, for the most part; but, no, you're supposed to keep with the same brand. "Classified" breakers are the exception.
