I would look into whether outages are the problem or voltage sags are the problem. It costs much more money to provide ride-through for outages than to provide ride through for sags. Try to get a handle on whether the events that caused the process to shut down were outages or sags. If the problem events were 90% sags (which I bet they are), the customer would probably be willing to spend a lot less money on mitigation, but still have exposure to a small amount of actual outages.

If sags are the majority of events causing shutdown, I would go with one whole plant MG set with flywheel, or smaller MG sets with flywheel for the sensitive loads depending on comparison of cost of course.
