What is yhe demand for a 5kW cooktop and a 9kW wall mounted oven?

I used column C and combined the two values for a total of 14kW. Then used note 1 and came up with 8.8kW. Is this the correct way to do this?

That's the way I would do it.

Note 4 last sentence gets you 14kw. Col. C has 8kw for 1 range rated 12 kw and then we need to add the demand for the extra 2 kw (Note 1)at 5% for each. 10% of 80= .8 thus we have 8 + .8= 8.8kw.
