Has anyone seen the 2009 International Energy Conservation Code? It's already been adoped by Illinois.

If you have seen it, have they tightened down the watts/sq ft more than the 2006?

I'm curious what is now allowed for offices and manufacturing facilities.

Your book is about $35, its only required for commerical not residential.

This is a nice link stating active code requirements by each State and what year of the IECC and the ASHRAE 90, a State is using... DOE
 
TABLE 505.5.2 INTERIOR LIGHTING POWER ALLOWANCES is the same for both the 2006 & 2009 Editions of the IECC.

Thanks. I'm glad they didn't squeeze us anymore on the lighting allowances.

I just don't understand it. You can buy all the gasoline you want, but light is rationed.
