mc to emt: accessible?

does a change form mc to emt need to be accessible?

for example, going from an mc connector to a threaded coupling into an emt connector.

I was told that it needed to be accessible but can't find any reference to it in the book.

They make a fitting to do that without using the coupling and no, it does not have to be accessible unless you used a box for the transition.

MC to EMT would be a transition that needs to be accessible.

I read your post but I don't understand it.

I don't know the answer but my guess is they want the raceway to be reusable without damaging the building, just like any other raceway.

It is a raceway and can not be covered. Perhaps stupid but is required.
