Big Bump on the back of Square D panels

If anyone is still interested these are pictures of the bump on the back of SD QO panel.

My guess is it's there to maintain the air space.

It looks like it may be there to provide clearance for an interior component.

wow, I just ran into this problem last week w/ a SQD QO ML. The bump is not even center or anything it's off to the right side. And the bump is behind the neutral bar, but you can't even get to it!

Very frustrating!
