This is a very good example of why we need to keep unprotected service conductors outside or very close just inside be for hitting the main, did a burned out panel change out about a month ago, the SECs were double lugged with a set of conductors feeding another small panel, luckily there was no openings in the panel and the fire was contained within the panel, but the SEC's burned clear to the meter.

Would be a good image to post when we get people in here posting questions like
"I just don't understand why my inspector wont let me run 15' to the main breaker panel"

seeing a photo like this, my question back to that person would be "are you nut's":D
