I've never been called by a inspector for using regular wirenuts on exterior light fixtures. But I was wondering is there any codes saying you should? What about landscape lighting in a above ground post? I've only used them in kristy boxes.

What's a kristy box?

Why would an inspector cite somebody for using a regular wireneut in an outside light fixture?

Ok I see. It's like "Bell box" or "Romex" or "Kleenex".

So does anyone want to address the actual question that the op asked? ;)

Are you new here?

It looked to me like it was addressed by Rob already.

Yes newbie here. I have a couple of questions maybe somebody can address. Ground up or down? Favorite circuit breaker panel?

Maybe you should read the question. ;)

Up, light almond, Siemens, GMC, RedWings, always pull an EGC even in empty conduits, count clamps that are removed, count fixture straps that contain fixtures and always ..... always bond around each plumbing fitting.

Maybe you should read the question. ;)

I did, maybe you can show an NEC requirement that does not exist.
