Of all the "Power Savings" products I have seen these guys have the best techno-jargon-mumbo-jumbo that I have ever seen.

http://www.keseco.com/

They managed to talk there way into one of our manufacturing plants and the other plant was trying to talk us into checking into it. We politely declined.

The poor grammer on the home page is less than impressive to me. That's harsh coming from an engineer. Maybe the rest gets better.

"ULTRA is new concept
Power Saving Appliance
applying current
improvement method.
Superior Power Saving Effect
without Lowering Voltage
because of the resonance
absorption of rotating
electromagneticwave"

Egads!!! It only gets worse as you read more of the site. My Nigerian email bank scams are written better.

Although I hate to provide quasi-advertising, this was too good to pass up.
ULTRA shows over 8 % power saving rate on the average.
(The power saving rate depends on load type as below).
1. L Load(Inductive Load like Ari conditioners, Refrigerators and Chillers): 11 % ~
2. R Load(Lighting Load like light bulb): 3 % ~ , 3 % of intensity of illumination improving
3. L + R Complex Load: 8 % ~ (In case there are more than 70% load factor and 60% with inductive load out of whole load)

Ari conditioners?

3% power reduction on light bulbs WITH a 3% improvement in illumination? WOW!

But wait, there's more! It slices, it dices, it will even make julienne fries!

Praised for its ability to prevent electromagnetic waves.

Reminds me of a line from the movie "Kelly's Heros", spoken by "Odd Ball", played by Donald Sutherland...

One of their pages 'explains' the savings.
They measure Power before and after, etc.
The power units are kwh.
I guess I've been wrong all this time - I thought power was kw and energy was kwh. I'm glad they straightened me out.

Around here we get these full-page newspaper ads for 'Amish' heaters. Basically, it's a 1500 watt (energy?) electric heater in a fancy wood box for $200.

I'm sure there's some sharp entrepeneur out there that will combine these two devices and make a fortune in the 'green' world to come.
