For 120v. landscape lighting. Is the min. depth 6" or 12"? Also does the whole circuit need to be GFCI protected? Do I need to wrap the pipes with 3 mil. the whole way? Thank you for your help.

You can use the 6" depth per table 300.5 note 4 if using rigid pipe. GFI protection is still required.

Note 4. Where one of the wiring method types listed in Columns 1?3 is used for one of the circuit types in Columns 4 and 5, the shallowest depth of burial shall be permitted.

In Arizona we wrap the pipe in 20mil tape 1/2 lapped the entire length.

why not dig it a little deeper and use uf or pvc?
