Hi,
In my haste to test my new 8 circuits I just wired in my basement prior to drywall going up, I cut and inserted all my neutrals into the neutral bars in my subpanel (left hots long to connect to a test breaker), forgetting that I will need to use combo AFCI's and not standard breakers
Now I believe my cut neutrals will be too short to connect up to the individual AFCI's. In lieu of taking out staples and attempting to pull more wire into the box, is there anything in NEC that would prohibit use of wirenuts to lengthen the neutrals I need to lengthen WITHIN the subpanel?
This one's definitely a stupid human trick.
