I can not find were it says that if you are running a cable type conductor such as MC, ac cable and you are on a 277/480 volt system that the conductors have to be re identified or identified form factory . 110-15 only indicates that the conductor of 4 wire delta connected system requires reidentification. so I could run a 3 wire MC cable with black, red and white and use this on 277 volt switching?

210.5 calls for distinct identification at terminations, splices, and connections where you have more than one voltage system. This would not require factory re identification, but would require marking or tagging.

I read this before howevrr I misinterpited as meaning only when conductors of differant voltages enter the same splice or pull box..
Maybe I need to have my Brain checked for misinterpting LOL:grin:
Thanks for bring me up to code with this
cameron:)

I think your crossing the requirements of conductors of a different system (200.6(D) with the requirements of conductors from two different voltage systems (210.5(C)

different voltage systems on the same premises has to have identification through out the premise, and a label at each panel identifying the marking method and colors used.

Grounding conductors I can agree, but doesn't 200.7(C)(1) allow a white to be remarked in a cable to be used as an ungrounded conductor? and MC is a cable, which is what the OP was talking about.
You are correct. I just skip by all that cable stuff as I don't use it:grin:
