Do anybody knows the rated ambient temperature inside the boiler room in a regular building?
Do you need that temp to derate?
might have to do a 24 hr constant temp recording to get an average I would think.
I'm agree 100%.I am of the belief you would be looking for the max temp not the average. I see nothing in the NEC that allows the use of the average temperature.
My own wall around the boilers!! (A lot of plumber piping around the wall and the ceiling)

well if its 2" emt and its a 12x12 box, isn't that a violation ? (which pipe are the conductors going to ? 314.28)
I thought #12 and smaller, box fill calculation apply not (straight pull or angle pull calculations)
